So, I decided I'd teach myself to draw. Got a brand new Wacom Bamboo tablet off ebay, and umm.. Well, I wouldn't call it drawing. I can doodle with it. The trick is finding a friendly drawing application. I'm using Corel Painter 9 right now, and I kinda like it. The tutorials are all online based, which I can't really use because we're on satellite internet. So, does anyone have any suggestions on drawing related literature that I should look at? Or applications.. websites.. or just plain suggestions. I'm open to them all.

I'm gonna post my first lame attempt at art. Comments besides "It sucks" or "Dude, just give it up" are welcome. Since my flaws are many and easy to recognize, I'm looking for suggestions to improve. Umm.. that's about it really. Talk to you all later!
